Each year, the Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Board is required to prepare an operational plan as per sections 20 and 21 of the Waste and Resource Recovery Act 2022​ (the Act). 

The operational plan includes information on the manner in which the Board will meet its business and financial objectives for each financial year, and sets out the budget of the Board. Those objectives are developed to support the Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy and achieve the purposes of the Act.​

Performance against the operational plan is described in the following year's Annual Report.​

​Annual Re​porting

​Under section 22 of the Act, the Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Board is required to publish an annual report for each financial year, including disclosure of the financial statements. 

The annual reports provide information about the Board's membership, governance arrangements, activities and events, together with details of how landfill levy revenue has been reinvested through Board programs and initiatives.​​​
