Peak Body Partner Program

The Board’s Peak Bodies Partner Program is an opportunity to identify gaps and opportunities within key sectors to reduce waste and transition toward a circular economy. Through these partnerships, the Board identifies sector specific challenges, uncovers opportunities for strategic growth, and supports peak bodies representing industries that generate, manage, process or reuse priority materials.

The program more broadly, provides an opportunity for data sharing and use, coupled with awareness raising of the waste hierarchy and the circular economy within the Tasmanian context.

The Board will consider the analyses and recommended approaches from this work to inform the Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy, identify priority materials and sectors, and guide future investment of landfill levy funds aimed at reducing waste to landfill and improving resource recovery across Tasmania.

As collaborative work is undertaken, it will be added to the list below.
