Landfill levy set for 2023/24

The Waste and Resource Recovery Act was passed in March 2022 and establishes that the landfill levy for 2023/24 will be 12 Fee Units. On 8 February 2023, the Fee Unit amount for 2023/24 was notified in the Tasmanian Government Gazette​ as being $1.78, which means that the landfill levy amount for next financial year will be $21.36.
