Operational Plan

The Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Board is required, each year, to prepare an Operational Plan as per sections 20 and 21 of the Waste and Resource Recovery Act 2022. The Plan includes information on the manner in which the Board will meet its business and financial objectives for each financial year, and sets out the budget of the Board. It is consistent with the Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy. Performance against the Operational Plan is described in the following years Annual Report.

Annual Reporting

The Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Board Annual Report 2022-2023 covers the activities of the Board's inaugural year and our first steps towards delivering our plan to support a low emission, circular economy in the State. The report describes a year where the Board commenced their leadership role and began working with all levels of government, business, industry, and community to realise a shared vision for Tasmania, a place where nothing is wasted. The Board is looking forward to expanding their role and increasing their support and funding of key programs and organisations which will contribute to achieving Tasmania's ambitious waste and resource recovery goals.
